Ruchika Harish wedding in Jaipur - Jan 2012

We were invited for Harish Ruchika wedding in Jaipur, and hence got an opportunity to visit Jaipur and stay in Chomu Palace hotel at Chomu about 35 kms from Jaipur city. Click the picture below to check out the pictures.

After a stroll around Chomu and Chomu Palace we went for some Jaipur shopping and to Chowkidhani which showcases Rajasthani customs, culture and art. Click the picture below to check out the pictures.

We enjoyed three events in the wedding, the Mehendi when everyone wears a green natural coloring paste in beautiful artistic forms which then stains the skin red in color on the hands and legs. Click the picture below to check out the Mehendi pictures.

Then we travelled by luxury bus to Le Meridian hotel and enjoyed the Sangeeth night when the kids and everyone had fun dancing, eating and partying for the music. Click the picture below to check out the Sangeeth night pictures.

The next day we travelled to Sammode Palace few kilometers from the Chomu Palace for the wedding and what a grand wedding it turned out to be on a perfectly Sunny day. The bridegroom riding on an elephant chariot and welcomed by the bride from the top of the Palace tower was a highlight.
